Semantics

Why are you a designer? Do you have an underlying premise? Do you have a goal? How do you feel about so many designers existing simply as make-up artists to conglomerate entities that have no moral responsibility to any relative concept of socialization, harmony, compassion and knowledge? Is this what you want? To be the assistant of unfair trading practice, war subsidization and human exploitation. To be the realization of the propaganda machine pushing our infatuation for material gimmicks into reliance? Spinning bone fragments into golden threads that weave straight jackets for your neighbors and family. Creating butterflies for fishing poles meant to lead attention spans away from smoking artillary cannons.

Wake up and put some knowledge back in your work. Teach people about the world you see and supress. Teach them what you are interested in. Teach them concepts that aren't intended to turn their brains into marshmellows. I know this site is called "it will save the world" and it is by and in-large a personal blog that contains diverse images that seem to make no sense, and seems to not have anything to do with its title. The conjecture is primarily light-hearted, but doesn't have to be. I want to be more serious, but my imagination continues to sputter fantasy. I want people to be free. To find perspectives larger than themselves.

I want communication to stop being a technical term. I want to revert to a system of transmission and reception that doesn't carry the dark passenger of loaded connotation. I want people to know the conversation in the quirky small town diner exemplifies the same reaction between elemental and cellular structures that keeps your blood circulating and the sun lit. Communication is the proof that the concept of "two" exists and that means something. I want to progress in all ways necessary to enact a designation pertinent to all systems based on a series of specific parameters and criteria that equal balance. An idea that doesn't make life one iota easier, but better organized through a natural augmentation of synaptic relationships. I'm tired of not understanding the logic of the world, of the media, of the corporations. I'm tired of something I become more and more involved in everyday.

I want to isolate the chemical reaction of a synapse at 1/1,000,000 of a second and simultaneously observe the birth, life and death of the subsequent universe.

I understand this life is short. Unbelievably short. I understand the experience of the child getting his arm blown off in a war-torn 3rd world country and the trust fund recipient getting a blowjob in a classy strip club are both housed in bodies that are able to understand the concept of material, energy and matter. Which one is most useful? Which one understands more about reaction? Which one will ultimately be more contemplative?...You can't say, but you can get upset at the thought of the relationship if you prefer. Life is such an one threshold of affairs that I find are often summed up best by short sentences told by grandpas.
